Beginning at 12:00 Midnight on June 1, 2023, the IBEW Local 688 Pension Plan merged into the IBEW Local 683 Pension Plan and ceased to exist after that date. All 688 Pension Plan participants became participants in the IBEW Local 683 Pension Plan on that date, and all assets of the 688 Pension Plan have been transferred to the 683 Pension Plan.
